Autscape was fun this year. Prehaps more so than last year, prehaps less so. Hard to quantify.
Anyway. Meme.
- Pick your birth month. - Strike out anything that doesn't apply to you. - Bold the five-ten that best apply to you. - Copy to your own journal, with all twelve months under a lj-cut.
...I still say Question 2 is a geography question.

Wow! You are HOT!
Either you are an amazing arm-chair physicist, an actual physicist, or are dating a physicist. If not, you should consider it. You certainly have been paying attention to what is going on in physics. To even further your physics knowledge (there will be some amazing new discoveries soon!) try reading http://physics.physorg.com/. You will likely be able to appreciate a lot of it!
1. Grab the nearest book. 2. Open the book to page 123. 3. Find the fifth sentence. 4. Post the text of the next 3 sentences on your LJ along with these instructions. 5.Don’t you dare dig for that "cool" or "intellectual" book in yourcloset! I know you were thinking about it! Just pick up whatever is closest. 6. Tag five people.
"An SQL expression can involve addition, subtraction, multiplication and division, and parentheses can be used to build complex expressions. More than one table column can be used in a calculated column; however the columns referenced in an arithmetic expression must have a numeric type. The forth column of this result table has been output as col4." Connolly & Begg, Database Systems: A Practical Approach to Design, Implementation, and Management
...I'm really wishing I reached to my right instead of my left, now. The book to my left is cool. Still rather accademic, but the topic is alot more interesting than fracking Databases.
Reply and I will give you a letter. Find five songs that start with that letter, then post them in you Live Journal.
In alphabetical order...
Hard Rock Hallelujah by Lordi Here Is The News by Electric Light Orchestra H.R.H. by The Houghton Weavers (well... At least, it's on one of their cds. Actually finding out who wrote it originally, considering commonality of the acranym, is too much hassel) Hey Abandon by DCS Hunter by Osterman (though the only rendition I've heard of it is by Phoenix)
* A colour: Orange * An animal: Fox * A body of water: A full bathtub
Then, for each of your three things and the bonus fourth thing that shouldn't be changed, come up with three words to describe them off the top of your head.
* Orange: Fox, Pretty, Awsome * Fox: Cute, Awsome, Adorable * A Full Bathtub: Dull, Wet, Still
* An Empty White Room with No Windows or Doors: Pointless, White, Space
It appears mobile phones can interfear with the 360 wireless controller. Annoying.
At least, that's the only thing I can think of that was in this room when the controller was refusing to bind, and isn't in here now. But anyway.
...The real reason of the post...
1)You are given a letter of the alphabet. The Roman alphabet. 2)You come up with 10 words that are significant to you beginning with that letter. 3)You post those words along with an explanation of their significance. 4)You invite your readers to ask for a letter of their very own.
Highly recomend doing this, it's rather fun and forces you to think about yourself. The amount of words was clearly selected with care, offering not enough to become impsosable (like, say, twenty would be) but enough so that you have to think about yourself and the universe (unlike, say, 5)
Though I'm not sure why it describes the Known to Self but Not Known to Others as the Facade, since the Facade is the mask that we project to others to hide our true self.
On Deal or No Deal - "What. The. Hell." I'm not sure what else can be said about it. Still, that's the sort of gameplay that's going to win the quarter million one of these days.
And now for the meme.
"If there is someone on your friends list who makes your world a better place just because they exist and who you would not have met (in real life or not) without the internet, then post this same sentence in your journal."
You're key lime pie. You don't unlock anything really, but you taste good and make people happy. You may have trouble paying attention to anything for long periods of time, though.
"Look at your LJ "interests" list. If you have fewer than 50 interests, pick every fifth one. If you have between fifty and seventy-five interests, pick every seventh one. If you have over seventy-five interests, pick every tenth one. If you have fewer than ten, pick all of 'em. List them on your LJ, and tell everyone exactly what it is about these things that interests you so much:"
If you could go back in time and see or experience one historical event, it would be: Oh god, so many to chose from. I'm gonna have to plump for witnessing the death of the last dinosaur. If you could go back in time and change one historical event, it would be: Stopping the Holocaust. If you could see or experience one fictional event, it would be: Transforming into a digimon ala Digimon Frontier. Experience rather than witness. If you could change one fictional event, it would be: Eee... This is an odd one. Too many possabilities to actually choose a decent one, so I'll just plump for 'Hughes wouldn't die' and leave it be.
1. Reply with your name and I'll respond with something random about you. 2. I'll tell you what song/movie reminds me of you. 3. I'll pick a flavor of jello to wrestle with you in. 4. I'll say something that only makes sense to you and me (maybe/maybe not). 5. I'll tell you my first memory of you. 6. I'll tell you what animal you remind me of. 7. I'll ask you something that I've always wondered about you. 8. If I do this for you, you must post this on your journal
In other news - I have a new tv. Not set up yet, but it's a hd 22 inch widescreen lcd.
